Always full of energy, The Cold Cut Duo 雙節奏, is a mandopop singer-songwriter band,

comprising Gwendolyn and Wilson. The charismatic pair always strives to deliver fun, fresh and entertaining performances.

The duo started writing and releasing their own materials in 2019 three singles - 《Take Flight 起飛》, 《I’ll Keep Loving You》 and 《#Addicted》. Their second single 《I’ll Keep Loving You 我會愛著你》 hit the charts in Singapore and Taiwan KKBOX, coming in #26 amongst the songs of internationally renowned artists. Their original song have garnered more than 300,000 listens on Spotify and debuted on Spotify-curated playlists all over Asia.  The Cold Cut Duo 雙節奏 are also well known for their covers on YouTube, consisting of mash-ups, medleys, electronic and dance music. Their works have been featured by various media companies including YES933, VS Media, and ET Today.

In the last quarter of 2019, the duo found themselves as one of the mentees for The Great Singapore Replay presented by Temasek, supported by Sony Music, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Singapore and Zendyll Records. Given the task to create a song drawing inspiration from Singapore in 1965 – present and the Pop music genre, the duo had guidance from Established artist and mentor, Kelly Pan, who provided fresh perspectives in the duo’s songwriting and production process.

The Cold Cut Duo 雙節奏 released their 4th Single《1990》, a retro throwback to the 90s, incorporating sounds of a computer’s starting up chime, the click-clacks of a keyboard and even a mention of then-popular instant messaging application MSN. Fun and catchy, the modern elements of hip-hop and strong beats in the song will definitely get listeners grooving to the music.
