Joshua's musical journey began at a young age, and his passion for music quickly became evident. By the age of 14, he had already achieved a distinction in the Associate Diploma of Piano Performance from Trinity College London and attained grade 8 in violin. His musical talents didn't stop there, as he was appointed as a student conductor and viola section leader of the string ensemble during his time at Temasek JC Integrated Programme.

Under his leadership, the ensemble achieved remarkable success, clinching the gold award for the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) in 2017 and 2019. It was here that he honed his leadership and musical skills, co-leading the ensemble in regular practice sessions with the guidance of SSO musician Yang Zheng Yi.

Joshua was also awarded the Music Elective Programme Scholarship during his JC years and graduated with an A in H2 Music and H3 Music (merit). His dedication to both music and academics was further acknowledged with the TJC ACE Award for Holistic Education in 2020, as well as the TJC Outstanding Performing Arts Award. 

Joshua's music portfolio is as diverse as it is impressive. He offers his exceptional piano and violin skills for various events, including wedding receptions, house functions, proposals, church wedding services, and community outreach events. Joshua is a versatile performer with a wide ranging repertoire, from 50s evergreen classics to current top 40s, rock/pop, RnB, pop jazz, and even classical music. 

He has played for events at numerous venues in Singapore, including Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel, Shangri-La Hotel, Fullerton Hotel, Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium Hotel, Raffles Hotel, Armenian Church of Singapore, CHIJMES, InterContinental Singapore and the Esplanade. 

Beyond his solo performances, Joshua actively contributes to SMU's live band music CCA Soundfoundry. He plays both keyboard and violin in different bands, and his skills have been enjoyed by distinguished guests, including President Halimah Yacob, DBS CEO Mr. Piyush Gupta, Supreme Court Justice Andrew Phang, Banyan Tree Holdings CEO Mr. Ho Kwon Ping, and Catcha CEO Mr. Patrick Grove.
